The ADL describes itself as "America's leading provider of high-quality educational resources for Jewish teens, kids and families," and this tool could help it fulfill that mission. It's essentially a quiz to help teens develop "cognitive empathy," or the ability to "understand the thoughts, feelings, and motivations of another person." This is a big part of the educational process, which is an "antidote to antisemitism."
Suitably, JEDL should be an educational resource, so it's important to remember that the ADL is not Jewish.
This site says it is "operated by the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Greater New York Community Relations Council, New York, NY," though it's not clear if it's funded by JFCRC.
Update: The ADL said this: "The ADL seeks to promote understanding of others' point of view and that of our own, in order to prevent prejudice, discrimination and bigotry. The ADL's resources are available to all and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, or gender. Many are available in other languages as well. We are proud to be a repository of educational resources for all people. Our mission is to combat antisemitism, hate, bigotry and racism. We are proud to welcome all people to TheADL.org. We have no political, religious or other agenda."
